Camden Clothing Closet
The Camden Clothing Closet stands as a beacon of hope and support for families in need throughout North Minneapolis. Through its dedicated efforts, it plays a crucial role in supporting individuals and families by redistributing clothes and filling essential needs within the community. Serving as a vital resource, the Clothing Closet not only provides much-needed clothing but also fosters a sense of dignity and empowerment for those it serves. By offering a wide array of FREE clothing options, the Closet ensures that individuals and families have access to attire suitable for various occasions and seasons, easing the burden of acquiring essential items. Furthermore, its commitment to redistributing gently used clothing promotes sustainability and environmental consciousness while meeting the practical needs of the community. In this way, the Camden Clothing Closet embodies the spirit of compassion and solidarity, making a tangible difference in the lives of those it serves.
Please come and try on what fits you! The Camden Clothing Shop is open every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at Gethsemane. We also accept donations from those looking to give clothes or valued goods to the community.
Free Meals
We serve free meals to anyone in the community on Wednesdays at 6:00 and Sunday morning at 12. On Sunday, please feel free to come for worship at 10:30 and feed your soul as well as your body!
Food Shelf Distribution
The Camden Promise Food Shelf feeds boxes of food to community families every week! Our hours are 11 to 2:30pm Monday through Saturday. We also supply lunch after church on Sundays, so please come worship with us as well as enjoy a warm meal
For first time recipients, bring your ID and proof of residency (like a bill with your name and address on it). You will be given points to spend based on your household size. Free lunch is served and children are always welcome.
